Our
Story
Lending Hands United began after I volunteered with another local organization that was doing a community giveback. It was then that I knew I wanted to help in whatever capacity I could. I was grateful to have all of my basic needs met, but I knew this wasn't the case for so many others. I began using my savings to purchase compassion items to distribute throughout the unhoused communities. After speaking to a friend, she suggested I get others involved which would enable me, now us, Lending Hands United, to help more people in need.

Our Mission
As a newly founded organization, Lending Hands United nonprofit 501(c)(3), is driven to do our part in restoring the confidence in our communities. Our mission is to provide community service and to assist individuals and families, primarily the unhoused and underserved, have access to the necessities needed to maintain a safe and healthy lifestyle. We also strive to unite and build strong partnerships with community leaders and nonprofits alike to make a positive impact in all of our efforts.
